Freebirds K/R Take 2: More stylings

Warning: these stylings are extremely random; I haven't had coffee yet! I even took one thing out of the holding zone to work with this. Also, at the moment I don't have any crop jeans though one's coming in the mail and I'm hoping to pick up a few more for summer.

Nonetheless, I like the shoes a lot more this morning. What do you think? They still have to be a no-brainer.

In your last outfit, how does it look if you pull the leggings up slightly so there's some skin space between the shoe and hem? (Maybe you did that and I'm not seeing it because of the camera angle?)

I am so looking for a pair of those, stat!

I was on the fence in the last set of photos.
With this set, I can safely say, "Keep!"
They look really cool styled this way.
I feel like such a fashion novice when I can't "see" the shoes when there is not the correct styling to go with them.
Also, I don't know why you were saying that you're in wardrobe build mode...You've shown us so many great outfits! Your style also seems really cohesive to me.

Smittie, you could not have paid me a higher compliment than with the word "cohesive." With all the (intentional) surface tension and theatricality, it's what I strive for. I swear that until maybe this past month, most of these outfits could not have happened. It's why I suddenly started pushing myself way past my comfort zone (because I know I won't generally shop this way) and dove back onto ylf after a break.

Janet, I often worry that you'll think I'm single white female-ing you. You are my aspirational shoe and boot twin for sure!

I think they are a no-brainer, as you say! I love them on you (I didn't get to comment on your other post) and I think they are the right amount of edge and the right color! I have them in the tan color from last year and am looking forward to busting them out again very much! KEEP!

Oh and I meant to add that seeing this color on Janet (and now you) always makes me second guess my color choice! (of course seeing the lighter color on Lisap, which wasn't an option to me, makes me want those too!) That's how much I love these shoes.

Heh, no, Lisa, they were just enabled this morning and the weather has been wacky today (from warm to freak hailstorm to dark and overcast). I'll try to take them for a spin this Sunday. I have the perfect event.

And the tan is going to look great with your coloring.
