Found: V-neck T-shirt for Larger Bust!

After a long, long search - I just bought this t-shirt at Talbots.

I know Angie is not a fan of the basic white t-shirt, but I like to have one around for layering under jackets. I also do find it very useful in the warm weather, as long as I add a great necklace or scarf. This t-shirt has 11% lycra, so it doesn't look like a sporty t-shirt.

It has a nice deep v-neck. I wear a cami under everything, so I didn't really notice if it was too deep. It does not cling to the bust, which I like, but it's still somewhat fitted. Just the right amount for me!

I also bought one in black, natch! (There's a "buy one, get the second 50% off" deal right now.)

If it has 11% lycra is it really a t-shirt that Angie wouldn't approve of? I'm guessing not. I think Angie disapproves of the kind of t-shirt you can get at the GAP or ON and the like. The kind that fades, looses it's shape, and yellows after one season.

I have GAP scoop-neck tees in brown, black, heather green, red and magenta, and I still wear them quite a bit myself, just as you do - as a layering piece under jackets. I wouldn't necessarily wear them to work, but they seem perfect on the weekends or for more laid-back occasions.

I would love to have better quality knit tops, but the ones I usually see that are recommended are not offered in petites. I really don't see much difference in quality of the knit used in the GAP tees versus the BR knit tops I wear. The BR ones simply have more interesting details, colors and patterns. But they wear out just as quickly as the GAP tops. Sometimes I don't want a fussy top - I just want something simple, with a scoop neck, and a solid color, to go under a jacket, like wearing a shell.

Talbots has some nice stuff. I'm sure your tee is just lovely.

The tshirts at Talbots have a nice weight as well - not a sheer, Hanes-like look.
I just stopped at local talbots Outlet and had to resist purchasing some boat neck styles myself.

The white t is handy for layering in summer - and just keeping cool on a very warm day imho. Shiny has a good point about quality, fabric content.
