Fit question on La Candienne boots

So, I still haven't gotten any new boots and would like to find some that would work well with pants & dresses, but be comfortable and if at all possible waterproof. I found these:

What do you think of the grey suede? I already have a pair of black leather boots so wanted to get something a little different. Does anyone know if they fit true to size? The 6pm site says to order 1/2 size up.

Thumbs up on the gray. I haven't tried these personally but I would follow the sizing advice, especially since 2/3 of the reviews seem to agree that it runs small. I take it you probably want to wear socks with them as well which will bulk them up a bit.

I know this style well. It *does* run small. But it's really nice :0)

Thanks for the info ladies. Of course, they don't have the grey in 1/2 size bigger. Grrr! But - I'm going to look else where and see if I can find them. :-)
