First Outfit Post! Autumn Dress

Finally got my camera in working order and got the courage up to post a potential outfit. Tried on a dress for the cooler weather and experimented with some leggings as well - I brought the dress and the leggings although I had to scrunch up the leggings to the right length. Necklace was my own I wore on the day:

They had the same dress in an electric blue color but didnt try that on. Now wondering if I should have as maybe there is too much "greyness" going on here. All opionions welcome please!

Yeah for posting your first pics! The belt looks fab with the striped dress. Your waist looks slender in this outfit. I don't like the way cropped leggings look on me, but I think you wear them well.

Luv the pops of color with your green bag and orange sandals.

Thanks everyone for the support! I think I will go back and try the dress on in the blue and see what it looks like as I wouldnt mind having something a bit brighter.

I was thinking about a chunky white beaded necklace too or maybe a red or green?

Theresa the dress is from K-mart and the green bag was one of my bargain E-Bay purchases.

I love how the look combines stripes (dress) and dots (belt). That belt is way awesome, and really shows off your figure. Great combo. A red or green (or yellow or turquoise) chunky bead necklace would add a nice pop of color.
