Amazing. I have a touch I Pod so I'll have to look into this Pocket Closet.

I don't have an iphone or an ipod touch, but this pocket closet tempts me to get one. :) I'm a sucker for things like that, it's not only useful but also fun to play with.

I am always on the hunt for new cool iPhone apps -- thanks for the tips! The top shopping one is definite, but I have some questions about the Closet Shopper: can you take pictures of each clothing item, or is it just descriptions? How long did it take for you to enter and categorize everything?

I am impatient and curious so I downloaded the Pocket Closet. Looks fun! But I couldn't find the Top Shopping -- does it have another name?

I don't have an iPhone, but will seriously consider getting one, if my current cellphone stops working. The Pocket Closet application sounds very handy AND fun.

I'm curious how many people think of their phones and/or iPods as extentions of their fashion self?

Personally, I have the cheapest cell phone available to mankind. I do think of it as a fashion statement though. It's one of those pre-paid trac phones and I love not having a monthly phone bill. It has no cool features, unless you count a built in flash light (which my friends mercilessly tease me about) and I can Google Text just about anything and get a response faster than calling 411 or asking for directions.

Kristen, for the Pocket Closet you take pictures of all the items in your closet and then you can shuffle through them. The design is the same as the coverflow design in iTunes, where you can browse album covers...except it's your clothes instead of music.

I can't seem to find the Top Shopping app on iTunes, but I can find it on my iPhone under the "lifestyle" category. Honestly it wasn't as great as I thought. It just gives you deals that it happens to have, rather than letting you search for deals. So if I wanted a shopbop coupon, for example, and they did not have one on file, too bad for me. I'll keep an eye out for a better one.

Nicole, I do not think of my iPhone as a fashion accessory at all. It needs a case so I'll probably get a nice one for it, but I am getting it mainly as a functional item to prevent it from being scratched and damaged. I'm a firm believer that if it's necessary, it may as well look good.

I really hate any kind of case that adds a lot of unnecessary bulk, and I also don't like most "fashion" cases with crazy prints and loud statements. I think the design of most Apple products is beautiful, sleek, and simple, and most cases unfortunately seem to detract from that.

I am mightily resisting getting any kind of cover for my iPhone. Like you said, the product itself is so sleek and well-designed, and every cover I've ever seen takes away from that. I also have the iTouch (got it last Christmas when I swore I would never want the phone -- RIGHT!) and I haven't scratched that up at all. So I honestly don't see the point of a cover...but my husband swears by his, so different strokes!

I put a cover on my old ipod and hated it until one day when a drink I had in my bag spilled on it! Without the cover, it would have surely been destroyed.

That pocket closet sounds like a cool app. I might have to try it. I'm not sure if I could be disciplined in taking photos and staying up to date about what's in my closet though. Well, maybe. I think I'm going to try it. :D

As far as covers, I have a black rubber cover on mine--very unfashionable, but it really protects my phone when I drop the darn thing. I don't really care what it looks like as long as it works, hee hee.
