Okay, so this is better than last season's wish list, which I packed full of all sorts of things. Fewer this time around, but more spendy - in line with the goal to *have* fewer, better items. I've done a great job paying for my Frye boots with Ebay sales and such, so that has freed up my Birthday-gift-to-self slot for the year. Any opinions on these items that have caught my attention?
1 - Basic black quilted jacket. Been looking and looking for one to get instead of my unlined polyester utility jacket. This one is lined in fleece. I can get a good price, but I'd have to order from abroad.
2 - The opposite of #1. Warm, wool statement jacket that Astrid posted today. Even more spendy than #1. Doesn't resist rain, definitely not gear, doesn't replace anything, but such a cool design. I guess that's the most impractical one.
3 - Duck boot lust has followed me since last Fall. These are selling out in my size; only a few places that still have them in this color. Yes, they look like gear, but that is what I love about them - utilitarian is one of my main aspirational vibes. I don't have a true waterproof/rain boot, and I could wear these as casual wear as well as gear.
Favorites? Elimination suggestions? Alternative suggestions? My birthday is not until December, but I'm not against pre-planning.
4 - ETA this Brooks Brothers quilted moto that amazingly is lined in acetate instead of poly.
