I love the purple for nights out, lavender and dark brown for daytime
The red makes your eyelids look raw and the warm brown as though you have a bruise!

I really don't think that you need eyeshadow, but I agree with Louise about the red and warm brown.

Red -- least favorite.
Lavender -- favorite. I think the lavender really brings out your eye color.

Before I answer, what kind of look are you going for? Where are you planning to wear the shadows?

I agree, though, the red is not the most flattering. It is a very hard color to pull off.

Magda, color does depend on what look you're going for, and where/when you'd wear it...but just on the basis of your skin/eyes/hair, I really like the purple and lavender. I'm not a fan of the red or the warm brown. The dark brown could be a great daytime look if you had blush or lipgloss, just to put some color on the rest of your face.

I think you could also work with colors of peach/coral, greens, golds and coppers...have fun playing with your looks

My favorite is dark brown, brown is great for blue eyes because it enhances the blue.

My least favorite is red!

I like the purple, but then I love the lavender. It's so soft, feminine and brings out your green eyes. The dark brown seems to be a neutral, fine for daytime. It looks effortless. The others are not as flattering with the red as being my least fave.

I like the lavender and the dark brown the best.

If you have a MAC store nearby and feel like a splurge, I can personally vouch for Satin Taupe and Shale (a grayish purple) as fantastic colors for blue or green eyes.

Thanks! Actually, I don't have any particular occasion in mind - I want to try as many colours as possible. I'm not going to wear any striking colour on my eyelids during the day, although I think it's a good evening look.

As you can see, my eyes are grey with emerald green tint (whew, it's kind of hard to describe my real eye colour!). Complementary colours are said to enhance the irises, but as you can see, my complexion is cool and warm colours obviously clash with my skin and hair. That's some colour analysis theory about Winters looking bad in warm, earthy tones

My favourite is lavender and the worst are red and warm brown, so I'm glad we have an agreement. On the other hand, I liked my previous attempts more:

I agree that the red and warm brown are no good, and I really like that blue you just posted.

I would go for more subtle colors, and work on adding pops of color in your clothes and accessories. Your eyes are so beautiful that they will stand out even without any makeup, and I'm afraid that really colorful eyeshadow will take the attention away from your eyes and put the attention on your makeup. I think it will look particularly unbalanced if you're wearing all black with bright eyeshadow - I think all black with a bright necklace (or scarf, or shoes, or whatever) would look more stylish.

Before you try more colors, try the Lavender and Brown together!! They will look gorgeous. Apply the lavender on the lid. Then you can either apply the brown in the crease and/or as a liner.

I love the dark brown. I would say the purple or blue are my favorites for a evening look, although I think you could also just go with an even darker brown as a liner/in the crease for a more toned-down evening look.

I think the dark brown looks best with your eyes. Red is my least favorite.

(But, take this from one who sticks with neutrals only. I'm not brave enough to venture back into colored shadow after the 80s! ha ha!)

Have you tried the Mac people? They are fun, do a good job at choosing color for you and it's free.

As far I as know, there's only one MAC store in Poland and it's in Warsaw. The nearest is in Prague, but I can't speak Czech Well, I suppose I can go to Sephora instead.

...and in my opinion, the lavender would work better if it was cooler, more blue; now it's a bit too pink and girly for my taste.

I agree with the others -- dark brown favorite, red the least. You look great in the blue too! The lavendar is pretty too, but I see what you mean about the pink.

Perhaps you can try a shimmery olive color. I know that's not complementary to your iris, but I think it would go with your skin tone.
