It seems like everyone here is in good shape--judging by your photos. I think wanting to look good in your clothes motivates people to exercise. What kinds of exercise do you like to do, and how to do you keep from getting bored? Do you find exercise a pleasure or a chore?

I had been going to the gym and doing various gym things---weight machines, treadmill jogging, treadmill walking on a high incline, a few classes (but I stopped taking classes because the gym was over crowded and I was always bumping into people--or limiting my range of motion). But after 5 + years, it got stale. So now I go for a power walk at least 4 times a week. The only time I have in my schedule is at 6 am. Sometimes I meet a friend, sometimes I walk alone. I look for hilly routes and walk as fast as I can without actually breaking into a jog. My friend is much shorter than me, so I tend to walk slower with her--a compromise for having company. Yesterday I overslept and came downstairs feeling terrible that my friend must have shown up for our walk and left when she realized I was still sleeping. I turned the corner and she was snoozing on my sofa! Anyway, I love my morning walks. I love getting up early (once I actually get up--that's the only difficult part). And I find my walks to be very mind clearing. When we lose the daylight and the warmer weather, I'll go back to the gym. HOpefully by then, I will have a renewed enthusiasm about the gym.
