BJ I read than Anna W plays tennis each morning and then showers and has her hair and make up done professionally each morning! Sigh!

no wonder she's the vogue eic and i'm ... not!

She is tall, super skinny, model looks from her model mum and an Isobel Marant (who her husband is a designer for) and Balmain walking advert. Never carries a bag only her ipod! and is always wearing cool Balmain pants and jacket. Her skinny jeans though come from Topshop!!!! I am an Alt Stalker!!!!!

Jen I didn't know that about her. I did wonder if her significant other was in fashion. Part of me wishes I was their little girl, can you imagine !?

They have a girl and boy with model looks too!!!!

Jen do you know her hubby's name? I'd like to google him:)

Like her on fb friend as she regularly posts pics of herself!

I love her aesthetic - refined biker chick to my eye.
Anna Wintour doesn't do it for me at all.

She has great style! She looks very confident, polished, and yet relaxed.

LOVE her style! She's one of my inspirations as well; I'd saved several photos of her before looking up who she was (and how fitting!). I'd actually just been planning to make a Pinterest board for her when my comp died, what timing! I like to change my silhouette more often and wear more color, but her feminine-masculine balance is sooo appealing to me. And I adore that she's able to pull such a rocker vibe without the heavy eye makeup, which makes me feel better about doing the same. And that she repeats pieces. And her attention to detail. So good!

Of all the fashion editors/style icons, she is the one I most relate to - not that i have her height, her figure, her budget, etc. but her outfits are simple, androgynous, and subtle yet obviously very stylish. I also appreciate seeing her and all the fashion editors rock various high fashion styles into their 40s, 50s and beyond.

I really like the photos both Angie and Denise have posted. Her style also reminds me of Charlotte Gainsbourg.

Wow! I didn't recognize the name, but love how she styles herself. My favorite is #3 of Angie's group of photos. With that bone structure, she will be a beauty well into old age.

Oh my goodness, I love her. I want to be her when I grow up. If I could dress like this and pull it off, I would be over the moon. Doesn't get any better (to me)!

Her legs are a mile long, lol. Great personal style!

Cheryl, I think her legs look a mile long... but maybe they are just average length; it's how she styles them.

Deborah: thank you for the precision! Now I can imagine why the stun face! Carine is with the one who replaced her. She was dethroned.

I'm an HUGE fan of her! She reflects the way of dressing of the French women, simple, not much make up and messy hair but always so chic! Simplicity is chic!

I saw this thread briefly yesterday but wanted to wait until I could see the pics on a larger screen than my iPhone to explore it further. I have admired her style too, but this is a great discussion and summation of what I find inspiring about her look.

Among other things i relate to (the rock star vibe, the jackets, the understatement), I love the legginess of her style, considering as someone (sorry, can't remember who!) pointed out upthread, she doesn't wear skirts/dresses or show skin. I find that really appealing and realized yesterday that is something I try to emulate to take advantage of one of the things I like about dressing my own body: the length of my legs. Now, of course I don't have her slenderness, but I can see certain things she does that emphasize that long leg line, especially in the pics Denise posted.

Thanks for starting this, Angie. More food for thought, inspiration and learning!

I love EA's style. I have pictures of her pinned all over my Pinterest boards. She just has such a natural, easy elegance. And man, can she wear clothes!
