Okay. Bit by bit I have been gathering the sense that there may be quite a few of us lurking and posting who live in Eastern Ontario (roughly speaking). I know that Freckles and Krish and Krista (I think?) are in Ottawa, and Mona and I are in Kingston.

Mona and I have been trying to have a Kingston meet up for MONTHS. What with one thing and another, it probably isn't going to happen until early October. But I've been thinking....what if it became an Eastern Ontario meet up? Any interest?

If you haven't come to one, YLF meetups are SOOOOO much fun and it is so wonderful to meet in person the people we've met on the forum.

Suz! You're in Kingston? My husband and I were just in Kingston last week. We shopped our hearts out at the outlet stores on Division St..... And ate our hearts out at some really really great restaurants!

I live in Ottawa, so I would be in for a meet-up for sure! That would be fun - thanks for suggesting it!

Great! That's a start. We can figure out the location a bit later on. We'll keep bumping the thread until we have some responses - some people may be away now.

Also, if any of our Toronto (and points west) friends want to join...I have several extra beds at my place...

BTW - sorry to have missed you! And you are going to have to tell me about those outlets on Division. I haven't had any shopping there for years. Obviously I need to step up my game.

Just maybe, I might be down around that area in early October. I've never been to Kingston so it would be fun to check out the shopping and to meet some of the YLF group!

I'm in Peterborough, but am a Valley Girl through and through (I grew up in Almonte). Sounds like fun!

When I was in university on the fencing team, we were in Kingston all the time fencing at RMC.

The outlets on Division are across the street from where the old Liz Claiborne and Jones New York outlets used to be. They've built a whole complex there now and there's even a Courtyard Marriott attached to it.

We came upon it by accident because we actually stayed elsewhere in Kingston, but I didn't even know it existed, and the girl at the Adidas store said that 90% of their business is the drive-through traffic en route between Toronto and Ottawa!

Stores: Tommy Hilfiger, Ricki's, Columbia, Adidas, Reebok, Laura, Stokes, Jones New York, Roots, Designer Fashion Warehouse (something like that anyway), and others....can't remember them all. Worth checking out - we made the salespeople at Tommy Hilfiger very very happy...........

Wow, there are more of us than I realized! This is fabulous! Gaylene, it would be AMAZING if you could join us. Ceit, I know Almonte! I have some friends in Clayton and Carleton Place. Freckles, I was hoping we could count you in.

Maybe I should send PMs to a few others that I know live in the area. Please note people's names here so I don't forget or miss anyone who might be interested.

Krista, I obviously have to get out more! I am going to make a little shopping trip in my own town one of these days...

Everyone, please keep your calendars free for first half of October as Suz is not available after that and before......well before that I will be away and I dont want to miss any meetups.
