I went on a jersey dress and leggings spree last week, wearing all 4 of my jersey dresses! I'm in LOVE with this as a MOTG combo. I got a new pair of capri-length leggings and now I want to go back for a light charcoal pair too. Here are the pics (with guest appearance by the Chickadee):

You have really got this look down. How did you find so many great tunic/dresses to wear with your leggings? I thought they were difficult to find but you make it look easy.
The chickadee is so adorable. I am so happy to see her beautiful little face. Her eyes are wide open and so curious. I love that black and white carrier. Wish we would of thought of using those 35 years ago when I had babies.

San, I've been slowly collecting the jersey dresses as I find them. The purple one I got two summers ago, the print one at a store that was right on my corner and was closing (it cost $20), the teal one at Superstore (a Canadian chain, grocery store with clothes and household things too), and the grey one at a consignment store around the corner. Now that I think about it, every dress cost $20 except the purple one! When I'm in a store I scan every rack for jersey dresses!

Perfect Brianna! My favourites are the teal dress with the yellow cardi (you look great in that colour) and the purple one. Love the silver detailing on your sandals too!

Dress + leggings is such a flop-proof, comfortable and stylish solution, isn't it. I can't believe I hesitated so long to try the look for myself!

The Chickadee is SO cuddlesome!

... ok, sorry. Fashion! I really like your legging looks, Brianna. I have been meaning to try this but still haven't got gotten around to finding a pair. You've inspired me to really get out and look, as it just looks so comfortable and easy. My favourite dress is the patterned one, with your Brulees. Really great!

Chickadee is precious! You are so lucky to have those wonderful, pretty slings- the slings available when mine were little were very baby blanket-ish, not a good look, but we didn't really care because there were no other options.

I think the dress and leggings look is perfect on you. You look so effortlessly put-together. I love the teal and yellow cardigan and the purple. I wonder if the gray would look best with a black cami- just to balance all the black length below.

Congratulations on finding such a great and easy look to wear for MOTG. And it'll still work next year when you're chasing adorable Chickadee around the playground.

Brianna, you've totally got this look down, well done!
I am coming around to the idea of leggings myself, seeing how it allows me to wear my summer outfits (pretty skirts and dresses) without freezing my bottom of in the subarctic temperatures of the library.
But the best part of the pictures is to finally getting to see Chickadee. She's so cute!

Brianna, you rock this look! Chickadee is adorable - is that a hotsling? It is so pretty and the pattern looks so versatile. I have been experimenting with the leggings look myself. I finally found a pair of cute leggings but have yet to find the right tunic length tops.

Yep, it's a Hotsling. It works well for times when I want to be able to get her in and out quickly.

I have yet to find a true tunic to wear with leggings. These are all dresses (although the patterned one would be too short for me to wear comfortably as a dress). I'm relatively tall so that works for me. How tall are you, Shana? Maybe you should look for dresses too.

Thanks for sharing, Brianna. The last pic with Chickadee is cutex10. I can finally see the sling in action - it looks incredibly useful, and it looks like Chickadee finds it very comfy :). I really like your MOTG formula, it looks very easy and yet put together. I'm glad to hear you were able to find quite a few jersey dresses for this look. I really like the printed dress, too - it's so fresh and summery.
