Sorry it took a few days to respond to the "dress your style" challenge.
The outfit I came up with can be partly attributed to the boyfriend, who rarely remembers articles of clothing but did happen to ask about a dress and jacket I used to wear that featured a fair bit of apricot pink. I'm not wild about the dress, but do like the jacket with its cute buttons and thought I'd see if it could be resurrected. This outfit gave me a chance to give it a try and seek your feedback.
I described my current style as classic, colourful and conservative, but Angie nixed the last descriptor as inaccurate. I believe this outfit captures the classic vibe I go for, with the jacket adding the requisite colour. I adore necklaces and thought this one could work by being neutral in colour yet still hopefully interesting.
I listed my style goals as effortless, sassy and sophisticated. This is not sassy at all, but I hope it looks unfussy. Someone else will have to rule on the sophistication quotient.
I only have the one pic, so here are the elements: super dark-wash boot cut jeans, black low v-neck gap t, apricot jacket with black buttons, silver necklace with pearl and crystal stuff, silver tear-drop earrings, the pewter KC wedges everyone liked from the previous outfit post. Apologies for the bad hair day.

I hope this encapsulates my style, and I hope it looks ok enough to be worn out of the house!
