My Dr. Martens wedge boots arrived today! I ran and measured the heels as soon as I got home - was dismayed at first to see that they are 3.5" (I was sure they'd be too long for my pants, which I'd been wearing with a 1.5" heel)... but I was pleasantly surprised to find that they look pretty dang good. They are very comfy, and the leather is nice and soft and already softening even more as I walk around the apartment. I'm 100% sure they'll be comfy.

First two outfit pics are with new jeans. #3 are $3 COH Ingrids from Goodwill Outlet. #4 are with $2 Goldsign jeans from the swap meet. The rest are *all* jeans I never hemmed because I thought they looked better long. Sorry, no pics with dresses; these boot babies are here for jeans usage first and foremost.

My questions:
-The boots fit bigger than my other boots... but there are no half sizes in this style. Should I try a size down? Do my feet look gigantic in #4??

- Does the heel height look good? It's way better than dragging my hems along the ground, as I was wont to do, but that means I am not a qualified authority on this subject... Unless y'all hate it, I want to either keep these or try the size down.
