My first off topic, ever (I think).
Just wanted to share a happy moment in my family's life.
DD turned 18 on last weekend(OMG, really???) and it was also our wedding's 25th anniversary, only a couple of days in between.
1- is her bouquet she got from DH.
2- DD and her BF (first ever:-)),
3 -with some of her good friends- whom we allowed to party with them over the night by our house!
4- is the double layer cake I did it myself excluding the macaroons. Her favorite coockies are the macaroons-so I wanted something special, which incorporates them, too- but true be said, I chickened out to made them myself, they were bought at a local store. Everything else (backing and design) was made by me.
The square one on the base (pun intended!) was for our 25th anniversary and the smaller round one on the top was DD's birthday cake (a true peppermint cream-cheese-aka After Eight cake-with a marshmallow fondant cover-and the... macaroons).
5- is My Proudness, herself:-).
