This is a big goal, I think. I'd have named it (or something like it) last year as well.
I haven't got there yet.
But it is a process. And I do feel I am getting much closer.
Deborah, I was so interested to see that it is also a goal of yours. I would say that you have one of the more visually consistent styles on YLF. It is one reason I admire you so much.
And Caro, I would say there is great consistency in your preferred style as well...although I do understand that in your present community you feel pulled to hide your true preferences at times.
In practical terms, my day-to-day goal would be a lot like Shannon's -- to explore the more modern leaning bent to my style as it is evolving.
By the way, small correction -- I believe Angie's PPP is actually "patient, picky, and practical." (Not perfect). Although following the PPPs tends to lead to (near) perfection anyway.
I do think we always need to keep that "practical" in mind, however. There can be no coherent point of view in the absence of context.
