Do Moto boots fit the elegant eclectic style? (yet more new boots)

Ok, all this talk of moderation and 12 x 12 shopping limits is making me feel a little guilty about this week's boot binge.....but, in addition to my new Miz Mootz tall cognac boots, I also ordered these Pikolinos moto boots. I certainly don't need them, but I really do love them and they're super comfy. I've lusted after black moto boots for years, so I finally pulled the trigger. I think they fulfill some shadow side of my style.

I'm thinking I can make them work for my elegant arty/eclectic style. That's the beauty of having "eclectic" in your style descriptor. It opens the door for all sorts of experimentation. Sort of like having "miscellaneous" in the mix!

(fyi, this isn't the last pair of boots I ordered. One more pair (of booties) is scheduled to arrive later this week. Ay, the guilt!)

Ooh, I definitely think these work. In the outfit you posted, they are kind of a "style bookend" to the scarf, if that makes any sense. I think because the shaft is not too chunky and the heel is not too stompy, they play nicely with the elegant side, too.

I think they are fab and work very well within your style parameters. For what it's worth my mid calf black moto boots are the most worn pair of footwear in my closet.

Wow, those are very tough girl boots! Super cool. Did you buy a pair last spring, or did those get returned (or am I losing my mind)? I seem to recall biker boots and a black jacket.

My initial thoughts were Elegant biker boots? But these actually do fit that if it weren't a bit of a conundrum. The absolutely fit in eclectic and add a slight edge. I think they look great, so if they are comfy I say KEEP.

Rae, Tanya, and Jeanne, I'm glad you all see what I see in these. They are actually elegant eclectic motos. In Rae's perfect description, the shaft's not too "chunky" and heel's not too "stompy." Exactly.

Claire, good memory! I did go through a moto tough girl period last spring, but ultimately returned that set of boots and jacket. This pair fits my style much better than traditional moto boots. Glad I held off.

It took me a long while to feel like they were ok for my age and style and I had been looking for a long while, but it seems these suit you so very well. I really like this style for you and can see how they will add a little modern edge to your outfits without being too rugged! Yay for finding the perfect moto boot.

Love them for you. Not too stompy or rugged but with enough stomp to be moto boots. Gotta love eclectic in your descriptor!

Abc, they are incredibly comfortable right out of the box. I'd say they fit tts. I'm a solid 8 1/2 and the 39 fit me perfectly. They are snug, but I'll be fine if I don't wear super thick socks.
