Yes. It's time for a style definition examination!
1. Who are your style icons?
This is tough for me right now (thus the need for an examination!). I have some all time favorites, but I no longer want to dress that way - the lifestyle is dead and gone. I'm inclined for this modern era towards the two Kirstens - Dunst and Stewart. (Ok, Stewart is a Kristen but whatevs ) Then there's Penny Rimbaud and Deborah Harry.
2. How do you feel when you’re wearing your favourite outfit?
Chic, different, comfortable, stompy
3. How do you feel when you’re wearing something that’s not right?
Fussy, generic, allergic
4. List some styles that you like but aren’t necessarily you.
Classic, disco, sophisticated chic, architect, harajuku, colourful global
5. List the top five lifestyle activities you dress for.
Walking the dog, errands, hard labour chores, bakery, cultural/political/brunch events (notice how I lump those together, hehe).
6. Write down 5 plus words that you associate with your style story.
Prep, punk, hipster, backwoods/bucolic
7. Let’s get visual. Collate 3 images the represent the words, feelings and elements you’ve listed so far.
Ya...looking and looking... I guess I almost miss the passive life, where you sit around looking at paintings and strike poses. I do a lot of physical, but not sporty things, so froth and flimsy have no place... I miss the clothes, but not the boredom. Hmm. Guess Quirky Waif is still doing Country Punk...
