You ARE brave! I am also generally allergic to pink, except in small doses (like a cardi). To be brave enough to wear an entire dress.... gasp! I'm impressed!

The color is wonderful on you - it brings out the color in your cheeks. So pretty. But my first reaction was a nostalgic one, because this color reminds me of my college days in the 80s. Sigh.

For fall, I am picturing this with an edgy black moto jacket... and some textured tights....

Raspberry pink is one of my favorite pink shades, so I can't really be objective here. I think you look beautiful in it, and the dress shape is excellent on you.

Lena, I think that is the episode alright. What a great show! It's such a pity it was cancelled.

Shannon, I would have bought the black or grey a few months ago on the basis that I could add colour with accessories, cardigans, shoes, etc... and now I am buying colourful dresses on the basis that I can add neutral colours to the outfit. I'm not too sure if I'll buy much more in that colour as it's such a difficult colour to find- it's all neon pinks in the Irish shops at the moment. If I can find some tops in that colour, I'll be very happy.

RoseandJoan, I wasn't forced to wear pink when I was younger but any pink clothes I had were either neon pink or pastel pink, and I also was a tomboy whose motto was 'pink is for girly girls'. Thankfully I've started reconciling the girly girl and tomboy sides of my personality recently.

Dawn, I have shared the same misgivings about wearing pink as you - that it is too girly and I have always been more of a tomboy, embracing androgynous looks more. But I feel more feminine now than ever before but I'm still fearful of pink. Especially since very few shades suit me.
