I was putting up apples with my grandmother last weekend so there are no outfits that were YLF worthy Here's what I wore this week starting with Tuesday:

Tuesday - Coral J Crew top with white clam diggers and giraffe print flats I was testing out. Sadly, they didn't pass the test but I really loved the way they looked.

Friday - Bennetton blouson tank, white cami, denim clam diggers and my new pomegranate J Crew cardigan (short sleeve & on sale, yay!)

Dani, I really love your outfits! You looked pretty and polished every day. My favorite is the last one, really love that color combo! I am so sorry that giraffe flats did not work out for you, but you'll hopefully find some other ones.

I love your choices of color combos. I have that same green cardi (AT), and never thought to wear it with turquois--but it looks awesome! Was there a certain shade of turquois that you found worked better with it? The only daring color I've put with my green cardi is purple...

Wow Dani, I remember your first few posts and I can't believe you're the same person. I like all of your outfits. They look really effortless and sophisticated. Friday has to be my favorite. I just love the layering and colors. Wednesday is also adorable. Where did you get those amazing shoes! I probably can't wear them anyway, but I ache for turquoise shoes.

Dani, you look great everyday! I love your new J. Crew sale purchases, the short sleeve papaya cardi is very nice. I know you've gotten a lot of use out of the citron one, and I think you will with this one as well.

On a side note, I wanted these shoes in red, but alas, they are gone in my size. They just updated the inventory and now they are available in turquoise. I know you don't really wear heels, but I wanted to show these to you because I thought of you:

Angie, I saw them after you posted them on a thread for Inge a couple of months ago. They are just my style too! I've been waiting to get the red pair, but I waited too long. I might pick them up in the bone patent though, I'm not sure.

Maya, I bet you are shocked, LOL. I looked back at some of my early posts and it's hard to believe I'm the same person. I've really learned a lot here The shoes are a long story and they're really not the most comfortable but I've put some inserts in and I'm managing. I wear them when I don't have to do a lot of walking I do love the color though.

Nicole, I LOVE that shirt with the green AT cardigan, very nice outfit! I think a bright turquoise works best with that green, but blues look very nice with greens so other shades might work too. That's just what I have in my wardrobe.

Ana, you're so good at remembering J Crew color names, LOL. I just ordered that sweater and I still couldn't remember it is papaya. Those shoes are very cute! If I had a reason to wear heels I would definitely try them out

BTW Dani, I meant to ask you...what exactly does "Putting Up Apples" entail?

Putting up apples involves a lot of picking, washing, peeling and coring apples and then figuring out what you want to do with them. We sliced some up and froze them to use in pies later or just to fry on the stove. Others we put into a drier and made dried apples. I happen to have a juicer, so we juiced some of the apples and canned the juice. We ate three apple pies and had some fresh apple sauce. It was quite a busy (and filling) weekend It's a very messy process and I learned that apple is VERY difficult to get out of clothes.

i know im a little late, but you really do look fab, dani love the navy? and white patterned blouse on friday, especially with that cardi. it looks just a touch short (although you definitely can pull it off) - is it tucked in? if not, it could also go well with a pretty a-line skirt in a bright color.
