Sometimes when a woman is naturally thin, they tend to lose weight under stress...I would say planning a royal wedding could be a bit stressfull...not to mention her full schedule...I will give her the benifit, that any weight loss is due to extreme bustling stress these past many months.

- BIG POINTS to Will and Kate for going to a small city (that is not exactly on the way) Slave Lake, AB, where 50 families lost their homes recently in a big fire. That was a detour not originally on the schedule, but there were hints that they would go.

- She does dress conservatively, but that is related to her position too. I did like the cream-navy sailor dress she wore to PEI. Will try to post a pic.

(it goes to knee length, with another set of navy stripes near the hem).

- Can't wait to see what they will wear starting Friday in Calgary, when the Stampede starts (likely the world's largest rodeo and really big exhibition). EVERYBODY is in western get-ups, so it will be interesting to see the royals' version of cowboy.

- regarding her skinniness, she was on the Dukin (sp?) diet which is a high-protien diet that is somewhat controversial b/c of long-term consequences of being on the diet (won't go into that here, but you need to eat at least some carbs too). She was reportedly on the diet prior to the wedding and lost about 15 to 20 pounds on her already smaller frame. I do think this is due to media pressure, but hopefully she will do what is good in the long run. Eventually, I believe there is pressure to have an heir and if too slim, it will affect her fertility (as it does all women).

An all-protein diet? Yikes!!!! O_o;

I absolutely adore her style. I never really liked her, but I think I'm slowly warming up to her. At least she's the kind of lady that makes it okay to dress up

She wears skinny jeans and kicky boots, hem lines that do occasionally go several inches above the knee (shorter than anything I wear!), so by my book, she's totally having fun with fashion.

O/T I don't know what to think about thinness and fertility any more. Both Victoria Beckham and Rachel Zoe seemed too be "too" thin, and both have gotten pregnant (Beckham 4 times now, isn't it?)

I don't think the royal couple have placed a step wrong on this tour.

I don't quite feel the newspaper article was fair for many reasons.

LOVE that cream-and-navy sailor sweater dress!

*swoon*

Forgot to mention...

Diana always tarried talking with people and we felt that her interest was genuine. It's lovely to see that William takes after his mother in this way.

Kate and William are of course different people and it is so wonderful to see that they seem genuine in both their royal duties and their love for each other.
