I did a major closet cleanup since discovering YLF last May. There were just several items left and at last I got to them yesterday. So what do you vote - keep or toss?
#1-2: A-line skirt with the ruffled hem. It is a winter skirt in the warm herringbone wool. It just covers my knee.
#3-4: tweed flared skirt which again just covers my knee. It is from a thinner fabric than a previous skirt but still winter weight.
Both these skirt may be a bit big on me in the hips now but they can be altered if they are worth saving.
#5-6: black flared skirt. It is a bit shorter and ends at the knee.
These skirts were the silhouettes I wore exclusively prior to YLF: I did nopt own any pencil skirt before. Now I am not sure if I can style them without feeling frumpy...Please help me to decide on this one!
#7-8: silk ruffled blouse. I usually tucked it into those skirts with the belt. it is too short to wear with pants. I can layer it under my black sheath (see pic. 9) but not under other ones with higher necklines.
#10-12: pleather olive waistcoat. I liked it before but now I am not so sure... Can it work with skinnies and a longer top under it?
Please be ruthless as I don't want anything which is not a 10 left in my closet!:-) Also if you have suggestions for styling the items with potential I am all ears!
Thanks in advance!
