First step: Clear out floor so you can walk in it, LOL!
#1) I was literally knee deep in empty shoeboxes, luggage, and items just thrown in to be dealt with "later." (Hangs head in shame.)
#2) Getting rid of 23 pairs! Determined to make comfy yet pretty shoes a shopping priority.
#3) Floor of closet cleared and vacuumed!! Yay me!!!
ETA:
#4) Made a hard decision due to storage space to keep my pairs down to 30 (not including gear or boots), so got rid of 4 more pairs.
ETA #2:
#5) Ended the day by adding one pair of boots to the toss pile since the backs were wearing out. Total shoe purge count: 28!
