After seeing these pictures, I realize how much better I like myself with bangs. (My hair has been bugging me this week, and I've been brushing my bangs back) Time to get a hair cut!

Chewy Spaghetti, I am in "desperate need of haircut" mode, too. I think your hair still looks cute, though - I like the slight "wave" when you pulled it back on Wednesday.

You had such a cute week and you look GREAT with leggings under skirts. I like the leggings best under the narrower-cut skirts, like Thursday and Saturday. My favorite of your outfits this week is Wednesday - you look so slender in that wrap top and the color is so beautiful on you.

I really envy your "Born" sandals - I saw them in Marshalls a while ago and loved the comfy sole, but unfortunately the straps were totally the wrong shape for my foot. They look adorable.

Loulou- I try not to wear black since it really washes me out, so I am exploring other neutrals for leggings.

Kari- I reallty love the Born sandals. I was surprised that these fit me because I usually need a wide width shoe, but the straps hit in just the right spot for me.

I was going to ask about colors somewhere. I tend to wear lots of blue and green, and I do get lots of compliments in those colors, but I think my skin is a warm tone and so maybe I should be wearing more warmer colors? So far, everyone liked the pinks.

Chewy you have some great looks there. The non-black leggings also surprised me. I like the grey, but have to say the white ones very too close to skin colour. I don't know if its my eye that needs adjusting to that look though. I wonder how turquoise or red would look as well? That white cardie is gorgeous on you, especially when paired with the flower pin!!

Great week, Chewy! KILLER magenta wrap top with the beads and sweet Summer skirts. KILLER turquoise tunic too. Love that look with the distressed belt. Fabulous! You have got it down.

Something to think about: wearing Chucks with walk shorts or dresses is a teenage look. You might like to stick to sandals and low vamped ballet flats whenever you bare your legs (they can have a sporty flavour if that’s your preference). It’s not only more flattering but also more refined. Hope that makes sense

I have a similar black cropped, but I'm admiring your white one as well.

Wow, you have some great pieces, Chewy! I am particularly envious of that white cropped cardi... I have been looking all over for one like that, where did you find it? I also adore the flower pin, the wrap top, the dress, the pink top... that's just about everything! The colors are wonderful on you!

As for your hair, I am also in desparate need of a haircut (have an appt on Thursday) and all I can say is that you look much better than I do between hair cuts! I like you with and without bangs. It's a different look but you pull off both beautifully.

Shiny- I found that cardi at Kohl's on a sales rack, but I saw a similar style at Target, too. I was hesitant to buy it, but I'm glad that I did because I've gotten so much use out of it.

Thanks for the comment about shoes, Angie. I struggle with foot isssues, so I wear the Chuck's not for style but for comfort. I haven't yet found an 8 hour shoe for me that isn't athletic. Well, my Born Concept sandals are pretty comfy even after a full day. I will have to remember that. The new Sofft's that I got gave me a blister, so I am waiting for it to heal and going to add some moleskin to see if that solves the issue. The footbed is really comfy in them.

Of course, you know I LOVE Chucks with jeans. My own wardobe would not function without them.

Love how you mixed colors - very inspirational! Especially the coral necklace and turquoise tunic - looks great.

Chucks get the job done much more stylishly than a true athletic shoe. I like the blue color with jeans since they lengthen the leg a bit.

not crazy about the chucks with the skirt, or light leggings. I do not know why.

lovely outfits! personally, i'm not wild about leggings w/ regular lengths skirts/dresses (aka skirts/dresses that are proper length on their own).

you look wonderful in the magenta top! what a great look for you! and i love your bangs pulled back in that photo! the whole look is just killer!
