Cheap boho jewelry

I want to try out some boho style elements. Since I am very short and a lot of boho voluminous clothing doesn't look good on my small frame, several people suggested incorporating boho elements into my current style by means of jewelry. Since I'm just trying boho on for size, so to speak, I don't want to spend too much money. Can anyone recommend a good place for buying cheap boho-inspired jewelry? I am mainly looking for bangles and rings--I'm not sure about necklaces yet, as I think they might drive me nuts. I'm particularly drawn to turquoise and silver pieces.

One thing to mention is that my fingers and wrists are very small. I have a hard time finding bracelets and rings that fit. I may have to go to children's sizes. Is there such a thing as child boho jewelry?

I haven't been jewelry shopping since I was about 18, so I appreciate the help. I'm really out of my element!

I have found some fun, inexpensive costume jewelry (boho and otherwise) at thrift stores, vintage shops and flea markets. Etsy is also great for boho inspired jewelry and accessories.

World Market is a good source. Etsy, Anthropologie, ebay.

You could start with a stack of 5 gold bangles, a pair or two of dangly earrings, a pair of hoops, one necklace perhaps that incorporates, beads, string, tassles, bells, faux stones (turquoise?) Old cameos, lockets and keys look cute with bohemian looks too, and big quirky rings (I like ones that have those mini portraits on them, or with mythical creatures). Gosh the possibilities are endless.

Go get a gauzy scarf trimmed in poms to throw over your coat (also at World Market).

There are so many ways you can do Bohemian too, so be sure to look on Pinterest. You could be the Classic Bohemian, sort of like Jackie O when she wore all her cool long necklaces and headscarves. You could be Ralph Lauren Boho--sort of a little cowboy country with leather and silver accessories.
Romantic Boho ala ??? Rocker Boho etc.

Consider it a treasure hunt and have fun!

Lucky Jeans is my latest treasure trove for fun boho jewelry. Maybe not super duper cheap, but not too expensive, either, and they always have sales going on.

Etsy is amazing, especially because the selection is always-changing and never-ending. And I second Firecracker on recommending Lucky Brand, but as she said, not one of the most inexpensive options.

I'm small too, and actually have less trouble finding boho-style (or any style, really) than I'd expect. If you choose a bigger ring, it may work best on your index finger for a secure fit, but I know I'm one of few that can stand a statement ring on my most-used digit

A great option that I love wearing are midi rings, teeny tiny little rings you wear above your knuckle. You can vary them in all sorts of ways; I wear mine along with my regular rings, but I'm a ring fanatic. These rings are cool, inexpensive, and add that bit of "badass" to your jewelry repetoire, even in a boho way. Here's a cute chevron set on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1.....Midi+rings

If you have access to specialty shops, such as museum stores or markets, I've found a few gems in such stores. And to test what sort of jewelry you're truly looking for, you can always find baubles galore at Forever21 or H&M, but while these are definitely inexpensive (but fun) options, the quality is definitely lacking. But its all in what you want!

Thanks, everyone! LoveSarah, I am going to the mall tomorrow, and I can stop at F21 and H&M. I actually have a credit at H&M from a complaint item (socks that wouldn't stay up). I really don't know what I want yet, so the cheaper the better until I can find out what I am about.

I was going to say Cost Plus World Market as well. Also maybe some of the tween stores? (Just pretend you're buying for a younger relative!)

I'm not sure where you are located Gigi but here in Germany, there are a lot of little shops, the non big brand stores, that people like to shop for inexpensive Bohemian items ......

Do post what sort of BOHO necklaces you ended up getting, I'm curious

World Market might be good, F21, and Etsy online for sure. I think resale shops are also a good bet for inexpensive, unique items.

There are a couple antique stores here that have racks and racks of second-hand (I do not believe they are true antiques) jewelry for $2-3 each.

Flea markets/Christmas markets/farmers markets

6pm have sale jewelry from different brands and Lucky might be found there.

I also like Francesca's for cheap jewelry.

Laura, I actually was not able to find a boho necklace! I discovered that I am extremely sensitive to metals, and I was getting headaches from jewelry I was trying on. Gold and sterling silver are OK...but it's expensive, especially if you want a big, chunky necklace. I did find a few rings that I liked from a vendor in a kiosk in the mall (it was the only place that sold really small rings), so that's my main boho jewelry. I did have success recently at Claire's with some earrings (no headaches!), so maybe I'll see if they have any boho stuff. I haven't thought about boho jewelry for a while, so this is a great reminder!

The nice thing about Etsy is that you can request specific sizes from most sellers . I have small wrists and have had bracelets been made smaller than usual upon request.

Etsy, F21 are good bets, methinks. Might even try Target. Here in the East Bay, NoCal, we have street vendors... I don't know if you might have anything similar where you are?

Accessories are a brilliant way to add some boho. You might also think handbags - something a bit relaxed, a little fringe perhaps.
World Market is definitely an option but boho is so on trend right now that most dept stores or accessory shops will have fun items. Look in juniors dept at dept stores (for example the jrs Arizona are at JCPenney - tons of cute boho accessories).
