Changing out handbags

How do you do it quickly? I love seeing people include bags in their outfits, but I barely have time to get a presentable outfit together. Right now I'm carrying a presentable black and grey BR bag, but I have several in spring colors I'd love to add. Any tips?

Ooh! Ooh! I know this one! I was always a one-bag-at-a-time girl, until I found out about the magic of the purse organizer. I have the "kangaroo keeper," but if you do a google search of "purse organizers," there are about a million of them out there. Basically it's a purse-within-a-purse so it only takes a second to transfer all your stuff from one bag to another.

I don't have a purse organizer, but the contents of my purse are 'bagged'- I have a small make up bag for toiletries, a large zippered wallet, my cell phone and keys (which both have their own pockets) and then the other contents (lip balm, lip stick and mints). I switch things from the pocket of one purse to the pocket of the other, then grab my bag and wallet. It does make it easier.

I only carry two things in my bag: a wallet and a small make-up bag. Swapping those two is pretty easy :).

I'm another fan of the purse organizer. You can change out your purse in a snap.

I usually change mine weekly or if a particular outfit looks best with a certain bag. I have a handbag organiser with odds and ends in and then just need to move my purse (wallet) organiser, keys and phone.
I find it easiest to store your bags somewhere really accessible. Mine used to be kept in 3 large lidded plastic boxes which I inevitably dumped a load of stuff on and couldn't be bothered to move to get out a bag. I've since downsized my bags and they are now in 1 box without the lid on and I change more frequently x

I need to try an organizer but, like Louise, my big problem was access to my bags. I've gotten a better system for me but I still forget about changing them out. I do better than I have in the past because I can now see all my bags. Keeping your purse clutter free also helps with swapping it out.

Yes, I agree with the "easy access" thing. I now have all mine on a shelf in the closet and it's super easy to just grab and go!

Ooo i do not have a purse organizer but maybe i should get one...i'm not a huge handbag girl but i do like to switch purses now and then.

My plan is the exact same as Khris'. Genius and oh-so-easy. I have my items in a clear make up bag so you can see all your goodies and know where to "fish."

I use a lot of small bags too: one for makeup, one even smaller for pills, mints and Lactaid (makes it easy to find when I get a latte!) and one for keys and a pen. I added the last one when. I got a new Coach purse with a really pretty lining I didn't want to mess-up with key scratches or pen marks.

I have one small cosmetic bag for small miscellaneous stuff and another clear baggie for clothing coupons, then all big items: wallet, work badge, Garmin, cell phones, pad and pen. It only takes a few seconds to switch out.
