career-style earrings for a round face?

my sister works at a computer company, and is in desperate need of work-appropriate earrings.

i'd love to get her some diamond/CZ/pearl earrings, but don't know what kind will flatter both her round face and professional look.

your advice would be much appreciated! thanks

Hi, What sort of stuff would she like - gold, silver or bright gems? I think earrings are one of those accessories where you have a bit of leeway as long as you keep them on the small in scale. Here are some I found:

I would do small, vertical drop earrings.

(These would probably be the most flattering. The lines are very strong and vertical, with the oblong shapes, and they seem to be small enough to be work-appropriate while still maintaining a bit of an edge--I would call to double-check on the size, though, since it's not listed. I'm guessing they're smallish based on the size of the chain and the posts, but that could be deceiving, I guess)
