I haven't been able to find them on a local store site yet but Eileen Fisher does have a Canadian website and the cost of shipping, duties and taxes is quite reasonable (compared to FiftyOne anyway).

Here's the link to the trousers for Canadian shipping http://www.eileenfisher.com/Ei.....cale=en_US. Just click on "International Order" on the bottom right of the page to get to the Canadian pricing. I popped them into my cart and pretended to buy so I could see the total calculation - shipping is only $5 and duties/taxes are $37.77. It also looks like returns are pretty easy.

And they come in petite so my length issues would be resolved - although pricey (for me) I am seriously considering pulling the trigger on them and taking off a leather jacket from my spring list.

I'm now seriously contemplating these as well! Parsley looked amazing in them. I'm wondering how many slouchy pants per wardrobe is too many? Great find Shannon!

Whoa..you enabler, you....it is going to be tough to keep my no shopping until London ban. Which I have already broken having bought the white leather jacket.

Dianthus - I'm actually going to call our local store that carries Eileen Fisher and see if they have these to try on in person. Do you want me to let you know if they have?

lyn - I hear you. It's not an inexpensive purchase. But I'm starting to re-think dollar amount connected to longevity. In fact, I'm going to start a separate thread on this.

As the lemming I am, I just wanted to let you all know that these darned pants are the most flattering thing I have tried in a while. I tried them on last night, They run huge, I was ok with a small, and I'm a size 8 in bottoms. I might order. I'm just debating on how to pull them off for work.

Thanks for the input Zap. Parsley noted they ran large as well. I'm thinking my ego would quite like the smaller size on the label - lol!

Shannon, FYI, EF runs really large in regular sizing, but only a little bit large in petites.

I have a few pieces from EF and they do wear very well. I find her styles timeless. I have a peach asymmetric linen sweater that I would buy brand new again this season - it always looked good, but now the colour is trendy again. Do you ever get to Holt Renfrew in Winnipeg? THey usually carry EF.
