Canadian poll: what are your favourite stores for clothing?

I am calling to Canadian members here: what stores are your favorite "go to places" for clothing? I am not a fan of online clothing shopping: I need to touch and try on everything. Often I take 20+ items which caught my eye to the dressing room and walk out with nothing at all!
So what stores you like to shop for clothing? My favorite so far is Winners for price point and variety. It is a hunt though but you can unearth real gems there for a spectacular price.
I found I do not really shop much anywhere else but maybe I should?

I also like Winners, but The Bay is good to and I visit small boutiques in my city.

Can I join in? We go to Vancouver every year.

Holt Renfrew, The Bay, Club Monaco, Jacob and Danier. Love all the Euro stores too - like French Connection, Zara and Mexx.

I am in Vancouver often. I like the Bay, Holt Renfrew, Zara (where I buy things the most often), Club Monaco. Every once in a while Aritzia but not so much recently.

Definitely Club Monaco and Holt's. Aritzia too, but only if you can find one in a "nice" shopping area that isn't overrun with 14-year-olds (avoid the mall locations).

I am in US but love Canadian stores. Club Monaco and Jacob are my favorites. And these are not stores, but brands, still Mackage and Soia&Kyo make some amazing outerwear and La Canadienne has the best boots.

The Bay and Club Monaco are favourites of mine. Vancouver has LOTS of small boutiques that feature local designers. Holts is GREAT, too. Jacob has lots of fun stuff but not consistently.

Another vote for the Bay, as well as one for Reitmans.
For business-type atire and eveningwear, I always have great luck with Laura.

I'm too intimidated to venture into Holt Renfrew, so I have yet to check it out.

I like Winners, Club Monaco, and Mexx best, personally. Superstore also yields good finds once in a while (they have $25 zippered ponte pants right now!).

Thanks for the info, I really appreciate it. I live in a smaller city so I do not have access to all of those stores. Looks like there is no Holt Renfrew, French Connection and Zara in London. I am going to check out the others.

Brianna - I grew up in Vancouver...currently living near Seattle after 17 years in California. My dream is to someday be back in Vancouver but that is a ways off yet. My entire family is in Vancouver and I am up there every 3 or 4 months or so. I do most of my shopping there

Michelle - I vote for the store Laura as well. My favorite black pant suit and pencil skirts are from there.

Holts is lovely but i can get many of the identical clothes for cheaper in the US. I like Zara, the Bay and some smaller boutiques in Toronto like Basia (sell cool lines like the Icelandic "Elm" which is ridiculously expensive but goes on sale once in a while) or Alexia Von Beck.

Much of my shopping is in Calgary with occasional trips to Toronto and Vancouver. My favorite stores are Holt Renfrew, Banana Republic, The Bay, and Mexx. For cheap and cheerful, I like Joe Fresh (Superstore) for inexpensive tops, cardis, and summer dresses. (Although it still seems weird to throw a shirt in the cart with my veggies!) I find that Winners is kind of hit and miss. I've occasionally stumbled upon items like an Anne Klein raincoat and Coach boots, but most of the time I use it for accessories or sleepwear.

In Calgary, I like Arnold Churgin and Gravity Pope for interesting shoes. In Toronto, I usually check out Ron White for comfortable, but stylish shoes. I'm also lucky that, in my smaller city, I have a great local shop that brings in Canadian and American designer labels and has yearly half-price sales.

Hmmmm, can I say *all* of them?? I tell my sis all the time, I'll shop anywhere!

I like Jacob, Ricki's, and Winners (for shoes and bags mostly). Reitman's sometimes, and often I thrift shop at Value Village which is next door to Winners in my city. Kinda funny, you have to dig just the same at both, but you pay more at Winners! LOL

Just found a consignment store in my area last week and found quite a few nice things there!

Costa Blanca seems to be the place where all my favorite thrifted dresses come from!

I also shop Urban Planet, Bluenotes and just about everywhere else!

I haven't been to Holt Renfrew yet, but I guess I'm going to have to head down there one day and break into the big leagues!

Not fond of Mexx for some reason, not even sure what it is. Maybe I should give them another try...
