It looks great! I love short hair on others, but I'm afraid to go shorter than my hair currently is.

Perfect! This looks so cool on you Shannon - and I bet this will look great with your "new" more relaxed, drapey, edgy style!

Oh it's perfect, Shannon. And how fun to see your fab red specs from closer up too.

This is a gorgeous cut Shannon! Thanx for posting picties!! Love your specs, too!!

Reading details about your previous cut(answering to Suz) made me curious. Not sure if you have some close ups of it, but could you show us that one, too? I can't imnagine those "sides had a 2 inch wide razored strip over the ear and around the back and then above that, a "regular" and longer cut, which gave a very distinct demarcation with the two lengths and shapes"

I am too getting shorter on back each time(and trying to grow up some longer bangs for side, but my Hubby didn't liked it when too short in the back. So would really like to have another option, like yours was.

Also, I have thin and fine hair(you can see my scalp through my hair on top!) so the use of razor and the thinning shears was not doing good things for my hair, shape was good, but I felt loosing too much volume, and texture-hair was going not fuzzy but limp in only some hours after styling, so I am also curious about Suz's stylist solution, when she thinned only with the regular scissors. How's she doing it? Did it work out well?

Thanx for the help(both of you)!

I'm a little late to this thread but wanted to tell you how much I love the cut! It looks super on you.

Also I wanted to add my two cents about the use of "thinning shears" on thick hair. I have absolutely refused to let my stylist touch my hair with those "scissors from hell" I look like a fuzzy Q-tip when she was using those on my hair. Much, much to choppy for my texture. So I insist that she only thin with a razor. She cuts and shapes first, using regular shears and clippers, then she starts to thin and thin and thin with the razor until we get the right texture. It takes a few minutes but totally worth it.

Looks like you have a stylist that you trust and who understands you and your hair.

Really, really pretty. Looks great!

Really modern and fresh. Seems weird to say, because it's not like you had a curtain of hair to hide behind, but it's like I can see your face now... opens things up somehow.

Love the new do, Shannon. Fierce.
