Bright high heels

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a pair of bright colored, high heeled shoes to wear with a short black cocktail dress. I'm going to a wedding next weekend, and after looking for weeks, haven't found the right pair within my budget.

I bought these in black, and I love them, but as a whole, the outfit would be too plain with just black shoes. (Btw, I got them at Macy's for $35!)

My dress is this one, in black (they were sold out of blue and the bridesmaids are wearing silver). I'm taking off the straps.

So, I'm looking for some heels, 2 1/2" heel or more, preferably with a platform, at $55 or less. I wear a size 8 or 8.5.

id do any of the following colors: hot pink, turquoise, yellow, emerald green, or bright purple. id suggest red, but sometimes that can be the obvious choice. so, if you want a fun color, id do any of the above.

With that dress you could wear black shoes and be killer!!!! A shoe color would be fun but I do think if you had the black dress and shoes, and some great jewelery you'd be a knock out.

Thanks for all of your suggestions! I knew that if anyone could point me in the right direction, it'd be the ylf ladies.

I love these Gretta platforms (thanks Lissy!) and might get them in red or leopard. I'd get the most use out of either of the two.

San, I haven't really thought much about jewelry, but I have considered wearing those black shoes just because I love them.

I like to wear a 40's inspired look whenever I can, so I'm going with red lipstick, fake orchids in my hair, and big costume jewelry pearl earrings. I might look for an equally big pearl necklace or forgo one entirely.

i love the idea of the outfit with the fab accessories i'd personally do either the earrings or necklace - i try to follow coco chanel's rule: remove one piece of jewelry before leaving the house. so, basically, don't go hog wild with the accessories i think the fab leopard print shoes, orchids, and the earrings will be great! oh, and def. the red lips!
