I did get a big, dark, nasty 'dirty snow' mark from a car wheel well on my white straight legs before I'd hemmed them. Took two turns with bleach and scrubbing the heck out of the hem, but it came out. Mostly it was because they were too long then, I think.

Wow - they look so pretty on you Suz - and I really like the way they fit you! I'm assuming that you were OK with the yellow undertone of this cream color? The reason I ask is that the other night while I was waiting for my husband to arrive on the train, I went into our local mall and to the BR to check these out - and (maybe it was the lighting in the store?) but I thought that they looked really yellow (at least compared to my Paige Troy Boys which I was wearing at the time.) I tried them on anyway and really had a hard time with the fit. The 24s were too tight, even though I could button them up and still pull them down to my ankles, the 25s were still "fitted" in the waist and hip area, but the legs were so big and baggy - but they didn't look intentionally baggy (know that I mean?), and the 26s were quite slouchy in the waist and (especially!) the rear-end area (they sagged like a diaper) and were even bigger in the legs than the others - but still not the right silhouette for a slouchy skinny type of look! So, I walked out without them - but I must admit that I'm tempted to go back and give them a try again, because I was in a hurry that night and not in a very good mood - so that could have been clouding my judgement.

Also - I had at first thought that I didn't need another pair of cream skinnies, but because of the frequency that I wear my Paige T.B.'s - and the fact that I am constantly getting spots on them and so having to wash them quite often - I thought that another pair of cream skinnies was a good idea for me! Even though I don't live in a rainy or snowy climate - 2 pair seem reasonable to me. I can't imagine you women who wear them in your "messy" weather being able to keep them clean - but, I give you props for wearing them anyway! I'm taking mine with me when I go back to the midwest later this month - so, I'll get to experience the "challenge" first hand!

No need to feel diffident about the fit of these on the upper thigh, they look trim and elegant, glad you're keeping them.

Glad the tags are off! I think they are a nice body skimming fit.

Marley, IRL they are slightly yellow undertoned, but not preposterously. To my eye they still work with greys (obviously) and taupes and blues...they might be tough to pair with my winter whites but I'm not sure about that. Since they're not near my face I am not too worried about the yellow undercast. They just look like...well....cream!

You are so tiny! These ones are 26, and, as you see, fit close on the thighs on me. I have real estate there and in behind so that is the reason, I guess....not much in the hips but thighs and bum, yes.

these are now officaly on my shopping list!
they look fab!

These look great on you! I ordered a pair yesterday (actually, two pairs since I could not settle on the size), and am looking forward to trying them on.

Great buy, Suz! I am hoping to see a lot of WIW's with these. I also ordered these in my regular size and was wondering later if I should have sized up.

Late to reply, but I think they are good! Enjoy.

Suz, I did not read the comments but don't size up. That material stretches out a lot. They look great and perfect to my eye. I am not into the whole soggy skinny jean thing he!

I think they look great, Su...which leads me to believe that mine are not a good fit for me
Oh well, I guess I will live vicariously through you!

Oh, that's good to know that they still work with our "cool" colors - really makes me think that I need to go back and try them again. (I've got a bad case of "lemmingitis!")
Suz - I'm not so tiny - I'm just a rectangle - no hips or butt or waist and skinny legs - straight up and down. But then on top, I'm much bigger - so, I think you and I have just the opposite types of bodies!

Yep, Marley - that's probably true. I am a slim hourglass/ rectangle with the "hourglass" parts in shoulder and rear/ thighs. (Not bust). You are probably more a rectangle/ IT. It is amazing how differently things can fit even people who are approximately the same shape!!

They look great! Mine will be here Monday. Hope they look as good on me as they do on you. I have the same thigh fixation, so lighter colors always seem to be a leap of faith for me.

You look great in them! Glad you decided to cut off the tags.

If they're comfortable, I'd say stick with these, because they look great, Suz.

Love this look and that size on you is sleek and beautiful!

So nice on you Suz, and just as you mentioned they'll look super with your new sweater!

Laughing at Marley's "lemmingitis," which goes around quite often here. Easy to catch. May I ask what that lovely blue tee is that you're wearing? It's such a perfect shade of mid-tone blue and I like it very much.

Wow Suz! Late to the party but these look fantastic on you, I like gray sweater pairing as well (actually I've admired that pairing twice now... time to try it out!) Enjoyed the discussion with Marley re: the cream color/yellow undertone since when Angie initially posted cream I marked them off as not working for my non-cream wearing self, but perhaps I may reconsider. I too make massive splashes on the back on my legs when I walk, worse than anyone else I have even seen so I am another to join you in that club.

Oh they're gorgeous! And I love this size. Can't wait to see how they brighten up your winter looks.

They look great on you, Suz.

Vicki, the sweater is actually pale grey and is from Zara. It's not available any more but it's a silk/ cotton blend. I need to layer a cami underneath now and it's still not really warm enough for our current weather. But I wore it today on an indoors only day.

Thanks all for your kind comments. I am enjoying the jeans. Very glad I kept them and affirmed my membership on Team Wear by wearing them immediately.

This jeans fit you perfectly! How about that? you order one size and it fits - yey. I get the back of the thigh horizontal wrinkles with many of my pants and I wonder if it's because of the bit of spandex or due to a more muscular thigh. I've seen this on Angie so I think it is ok. Enjoy!

You look fantastic in these jeans! I think the fit is absolutely perfect. So glad you are keeping them, and I look forward to seeing your WIW posts so I can copy your outfits to wear with my white jeans!

So lovely. this make me want to get a grey sweater, even though I'm not sure it's the best color for me!

Ah, thanks, Suz. Now, when I look at it, in the light of day, yes, your top does look more grey and I understand the need to layer with that fabrication.

Back to the cream jeans, are these regular length or petite? I ask, because your length looks perfect and I recall Angie's thread saying they were 33" in length.

These are regular length. I just turned them under by about two inches. I will eventually have them hemmed, but the nice thing about skinnies is they'll stay that way.

I am thinking of you celebrating right this moment as I type! You look great in the jeans and another Mazal Tov!
