This link is from an archive of people-photos in Cape Town taken between 1959 and 1963. Amazing how many of these looks could almost pass for current! (I guess that was an era of classic style. Or else it is my archetype of classic style, as that's when I was a tiny tot, watching my mom get dressed up to go out...)
