Rachylou - it's interesting when I purchased the first Free People tunic, I felt somewhat conspicuous in the top, even though I liked it. It's kind of poofy (floaty) and a bit of a statement piece in my mind. It draws attention. And it felt a little different than my normal silhouette and a bit sweeter, but I find I am tending these days toward more tummy camouflage than I used to need.
Over the years I have worn things or tried things and asked myself - is this too much? But long ago, I decided there's nothing too much for me to wear. If I choose, I will wear any style and own it. After all, clothing is like hair, easy to experiment with and not permanent.
When I tried this new top, it felt like me the second I put it on.
