Seeing Angie's cool photos, I'm wondering why I didn't come home with much more. It must be me; I feel too pressured with a SA trailing behind, even if she gives me space (which she did).
Our store was busy this morning but the tents felt like there was a little more room to move around...not so much merchandise squished inside as in previous years.
I bought some staples as well as a few minor accessories. Here are the only three pieces of clothing I bought (pics are totally unstyled). I only want to keep the 9s or 10s, so please, please be honest.
#1: CK dress as seen in the catalogue. I'd wear this with heeled or flat boots. I thought it gave me an hourglassy look IRL, but in this picture, all I see emphasized are boobs and short waist.
#2: NEXX silk tunic. It looks white in the pic but it's definitely a soft cream. The silk is nice and heavy and I don't think a camisole is needed...yay! Not sure how to style it if I keep it. Will be interested to see what YLF does with this one.
#3: Halogen boucle skirt. I think this skirt looks better IRL. It's nubby and has a double row of buttons, sailor-style, down the front. I think I might have to work hard at edging this up in order to avoid the schoolmarm look. Paired with my Frye lace up boots? Or return and try again?
