Ok ladies, I'm actually nervous to do this, but I figure I may as well jump back in at the deep end.
So the track pants I got, the Bobeau ones that I believe some of you have, really feel more like a crepe than a silk. I suspect this is good to avoid the whole shiny bottom issue, but I could well be wrong. They feel absolutely fantastic, but I realize this could well be a disaster. I'm new to this style and not necessarily familiar with how they *should* feel. Plese tell me candidly if either the front or back fit is unflattering.
My original plan to pair this with a polka dotted buttondown was thwarted by the persistent problem of the gaping bustline (shouldn't' that be some kind of teenage novel title? :p ). So I've attempted another pairing that may not work, but once again i defer to you. I put on a black cami with lace on top for some varied texture, then put on a silky teal top that I haven't worn in ages. Is it too fluid in its own right with these pants? In accordance with Angie's suggestion to wear heels with pants like these, I've put on a pair of black Cole Haan wedges with both mat and patent leather in them (again I'm aiming for texture variety in my black pieces). I have gold earrings and a white bangle with gold edges.

And the piece that I hope can tie it all together is my wildcard for the season, i.e. an envelope clutch. It's the Mayle Coco bag from Club Monaco, and so far I really like it. It's taking some getting used to, but I suspect the black and gold combo (with subtle burgundy piping) will get me through a lot of situations this season.

So, ladies, please weigh in!
