Ask Angie: Isaac Mizrahi flats vs. Me Too

I was looking for slipper flats last year without much luck. You cannot even imagine what pain it is to buy shoes for size 12 feet! The selection is so severely limited that it is a wonder I can get anything at all!

OK, rant over. Now I see two styles on Nordstrom which may work. One of them Marianna got and recommended: Me Too Adam Tucker
Here is another option: Isaac Mizrahi slipper flats. I like that they come in gold and silver as I don't have any metallic shoes now. Also reviewer complains that they are better for wider feet - which again is a bonus for me.
Angie, did you see them in person? Are they worth trying? I have never tried this brand so don't know what to expect.

Oh, both are fun. I'm not Angie, of course, but I like the unusual combination of the shiny metallic with the weave pattern of the second pair. I could really see those work for your style, Sveta. Of course, comfort is key too, so that may influence your final decision as well.

Sveta- Can't weigh in on the brands and hope others will.

I like both options and could see you in either style. I really enjoy my slipper flats, all of which have a "wintery" vibe (black and burgundy suede with tassles), so it was fun to see some spring options. I love the grey Me Too Adams Tuckers. The color is so versatile and the perforations seem on trend. To me, they read as an "every day" shoe, while the metallics could dress up a bit more. Depends upon what role/s you want the shoes to play in your wardrobe and of course, comfort.

I have 2 pair of the MeToo Adam Tucker slipper flats...dove (which is a blue-grey) and rosewood. They are very comfortable and have plenty of width. I like them best with the Nordstrom's plastic orthotic inserts for flats for a little more arch support but they are also comfortable as is. A cute young SA saw me buying these and came over to say that she has three pairs as she is on her feet all day. There was a version in yellow. However, I love my metallic shoes and would be tempted by the IMs for that reason.
The MeToos are breezy with the perforations and should be great for summer.

I found the Me Toos just a little more comfy, but the Mizrahis might be a better width match for your feet.

I really love both of those shoes they are wicked cute! That style is the best for a flat I fond them to be very comfy.... The Mizrahis might be a better option because you could wear them even when it is a little cooler out the others probably would not be the best choice if you want to wear them in all the seasons. But I love them both very cute!!

Ohhh I adore those Isaac Mizrahi slipper flats (I totally want a pair now, too!). I can see either of these working for you, but if you don't have any metallic flats already I'm giving the silver IM the edge for my vote
