Q&A about individual items, ensembles, and wardrobe

Ask Angie: Harajuku Lovers "Payton"

What do you think of these?

I wore these for a fashion editorial shoot last week. The stylist paired them with a black and white patterned shift dress and a dark red wide belt. The pattern on the dress was similar to this:

I almost passed out when I got dressed because the shoes actually fit my narrow feet! I thought they were cute, and I'm thinking about getting a pair. Should I? What else could I wear them with?

Oh Leslie, those look yummy!! And how awesome they fit your feet! Since there are no ankle straps I can see you wearing them with skirts, dresses, jeans and even clams (to dress them up a bit if you wish). The vamp seems a little high but since you have (from what I can tell from the pictures) deliciously long legs, maybe you wouldn't mind sacrificing a little visual leg lengthening?

Leslie,
On YOU they would be spectacular!! I cannot imagine anything that yo could not wear.

I've just passed out looking at the height of that heel. It’s 5 inches! If you can walk in them, Lesley – go for it. They are beautiful. Treat them like sandals. That’s all they are. So easy.

However, this is not an everyday shoe. Right? No one can convince me that this is NOT a sitting shoe!

Very cute shoes. If you can walk in them, then go for it. I am curious about a fashion editorial shoot. May we see it online? :-)
