I am going on a White House tour in early December and need ideas of what to wear. My family and I will be taking the Metro and doing a lot of walking so I would like to figure out something stylish and comfortable. I've also checked around it is acceptable to wear jeans on a White House, bit if I did that they would be a dark wash. Any tips you could send my way would be greatly appreciated. :-)

Hi and welcome to the forum! The White House tour sounds fascinating . I guess you’ll have to work your outfit around your footwear seeing as you’ll be commuting on foot. What do you plan on wearing on your feet?

Thanks for responding to my post and welcoming me to the forum. I just love your Webi site. So, I have two options. I have a pair of black ankle boots with a flat heel and a simple pair of chocolate brown suede loafers. Both have a sporty sole which makes them so comfy but cute.
