Angie, what body type are you thinking? I have a suspicion they'd fit great on long lean types (e.g., not me), but nothing ventured, nothing gained!

I tried on their skinny jeans in store (the check skinny pants are only available online) and was very surprised that they fit. I would have guessed that the skinny pants wouldn't fit an hourglass/pear type figure -- so here's hoping these pants are cut similarly. (Holding thumbs!).

Armani usually fits a less curvy gal. Sandy and I have a similarly straighter body shape, which is why it comes as no surprise that their items are a good fit for us.

However, Laura had luck with their jeans so go for it :0)

(By the way, I just go my new J Brand zippered skinnies – the same ones you saw in my blog post a few weeks ago. I am finished for how fabulous they are. I can’t believe how well they fit and how comfy the zipper part is).

Angie, I'm chuckling here to myself because I tried on a pair of the JBrand skinny zippered jeans in a store and they were an absolute fiasco on me!! Seriously :) I refused to even step out of the dressing room. Back to the old drawing board (aka David Kahn). Hope to see them on you some day!!

I love the fit of J Brand jeans, and the zip-ankle skinnies are so tempting! Wonder if the 29" inseam would be too long for me though :(. Can't wait to see you model them Angie!

Cathy, I wore them all day today. They feel like butter on my body. SO comfy. I left the zipper part open and the vent cascading over my ankle. It makes me smile. I am IN LOVE.

The inseam is 32 inches and it works really well for my leg length. They are exactly the same length on me as you see on the model in the photo.

Banana Republic has zippered jeans too, but they weren’t long enough on me and the zips were much shorter. You should try those Cathy. Laura, you too!

No worries about thread hijacking! I too was set on getting zippered jeans, but I discovered a new pair of DK skinnies instead. That will be my consolation prize.

I did try the BR ones, but they were way too short -- they ended at my ankle (even in the full-length version). The zipper itself was really short - the nice thing about JBrand was how long the zipper was. Oh well!! Glad they work for Angie and maybe you too, Cathy!

Laura...what style of DK jeans did you end up getting? I haven't tried them on yet but I will be close to a Nordstrom over Labor Day weekend and was wanting to try on some jeans.
