Tara, would you consider using a contrasting belt rather than the matching sashes? I think these fit you fine, I just think that sweater belts in general lack a little zing.
For example, with the violet color, you're wearing black beneath -- how about a narrow black belt? To me, that would pull things together. With the gray/blue, I think I would prefer white underneath to black. You could still do a black belt, and with white pants and some silver jewelry, you'd look summery and cool. (My tendency with an outift such as I just described would be to add black sandals, but that might be because I'm not confident about putting colors together.)
