I am feeling a bit more positive this week, still at 22 items. Yesterday and today I remixed pieces from last week into new looks which I plan to do again tomorrow.
Most worn items so far are:
- Tan Peeptoe boots 4 wears
- Straight blue jeans 3 wears
- Black and cream patterned harems 3 wears
- Black flat sandals 3 wears
7 pieces have been worn twice, and the balance only once.
My wardrobe is moderately sized, and I would think I have about 65 pieces available to me to wear in the current weather.
Where this challenge is good is that it allows you to create a capsule within your wardrobe. My 8 extra pieces that I add will be carefully chosen to work in at least two different ways.
I do agree Laura that seasonality makes a big difference. In summer I have several two item outfits (dress and sandals) or at the most three items. In autumn mostly my outfits have three to four pieces.
I am counting layering tanks as so far they have all been visible. I am not counting jewellery or scarves (have worn one scarf, two necklaces and one cuff). At the moment I only have one day bag in use but a new addition is my next purchase.
