Day 27... I messed up my counting earlier this week.
It is a Saturday, and ANZAC day where we honour soldiers who have served for NZ and Australia in wars, in particular those who died in Gallipoli, Turkey, WW1.
I went to a ceremony in the local park with two neighbours, DH, eldest son and my younger son had a job there through a group he belongs to handing out programmes. I work a black tee, black ponte pants, black boots and a khaki parka, bringing me up to 30 items with the parka being new. It is outerwear but I feel it would be cheating not to include it as it not purely gear but to wear all day. Outfit is okay but not what I would have chosen without capsule restrictions. But that's okay.
Attached photos of the poppies to remember the fallen soldiers, and ANZAC cookies we made, a tradition. They have coconut, oats in them. Served on family china from my Mum's family, where several family members passed away in WW1.
Going to friends for dinner later and I plan to wear blue jeans, Peeptoe boots and my cream sculptured tee with a necklace. All repeats.
