Any feedback on my style?

I wanted to take a look at my summer outfits all in one spot. Keeping in mind that a few of these were experimental, I would be grateful for any feedback. As a word-lover, it would be great for any one to comment on style descriptors. I am still so new to all this, but I love the idea of planning purchases based on style goals. I am a SAH, homeschool mama, working at our coop two days a week so starting soon I will be dressing a little more carefully. Thanks for your suggestions!!!

Melaine, first of all, you're extremely pretty. That's the first thing that pops at me....such a lovely face with beautiful eyes and gorgeous hair.

You wear pattern very well. I see that you already know that, as your tops and dresses have lovely floral and abstract prints.

You look stunning in skirts and dresses, because I think your style is primarily feminine with some modern classic elements and definitely a boho vibe too, and that goes very well with your beauty. My favourites here are: 1, 10,12,16,18 and 22.

While you wear shorts very well, I like them on you more with printed tops to bring in a feminine touch than with tshirts. 3,4,7 are great casual looks for you. And your outfits in the black midi skirt are also very crisp and modern. I like 13,14 and 15.

I would guess (I'm pretty new to this, too) that it probably depends how you feel in these; are there ones you like a lot? Some you didn't like at all? Or do you feel these photos mostly represent who you are and how you want to dress/present yourself?

I would say there's at least an element of boho, with the embroidered tunic, the paisley peasant top, the long tassel necklaces ...

(I really like the maxi dress in 12; can you tell me about it?)

You really do look great, and there does seem to be some cohesion here, so that's a good thing!

I get a definite boho vibe from your necklaces and all the flowy tops and skirts with prints. But you also seem to like classics as well. I'd be curious to know which outfits worked the best for your mood and lifestyle.

My favorites are 9,14, 18 and 19 is totally adorable. You look great in prints and I think the clear, cooler colors are especially flattering.
I'm going to prefer the stronger statement, not too much fabric, shape revealing outfits more because of your dramatic coloring, cute, cute figure, and so pretty face.

I also agree that there are feminine/romantic and boho elements to your look. Does that fit with how you see yourself and/or the direction you hope to follow?

Without reading previous responses, I would say your style impresses me as polished easy/casual, feminine, and creative. You are not afraid to mix prints or choose color combinations that are a bit unconventional. The signature tassel necklace is great - adds polish and a creative touch to many outfits. You have a great collection of separates and some cute dresses. For your life style, I personally don't think you should change a thing.

For colder weather, the same style descriptors could easily lead you to denim jackets, soft cardigans, jeans of your choice of cut, and soft jogger pants, tops of the same ideas that you have but with long sleeves. Keep up the good work!

I thought you looked best in the outfits that have some waist definition. You have a great shape, so show it off! The printed dress was especially nice on you, I thought. You might try some things with a stronger shoulder line, too. Also, shoes with a low vamp and a bit of a heel would elongate your legs. Just my opinion, for whatever it's worth. Thanks for showing off your closet!

I agree with others that you have a strong boho and feminine style. I love the colors and longer necklaces you favor. Great seeing a collection like this.

So many pretty looks! I agree that you have a definite bohemian vibe, and I find I'm most drawn to those looks(flowy pieces and long necklaces). But you also do a more modern, streamlined look very well too. That's exactly my dilemma these days...I'm wanting to add a bit of modern, more elegant, more polished pieces to my casual, boho style. I'm struggling a bit, but I know where to look for inspiration! Well done!

I agree with what all the others have said about your style as it appears here -- a little feminine, a little boho, a little classic, quite practical -- and Rachy is onto something with natural hipster, too.

Let us know which outfits you loved most and why; which ones were your least favourite (and why) and what your style aspirations might be. Also, climate and needs for work are key. What kinds of clothes do you need to wear to fit your lifestyle needs.
