Another orphan - help me to style it!

For tomorrow I am trying to style my black flared skirt from this post:

I have the following jacket options to wear with it:
1. red Hinge jacket. I think it is short enough to wear with this skirt (pic. 5). If this is a good option should I layer a black or white top under it
2. black&white chanel-esque jacket. I am afraid it is too long for this skirt in the back (pic. 4)- what do you think
3. I like how my sleeveless black jacket looks with this skirt but I am afraid it is too matchy-matchy (even fabric looks exactly the same as it is a set even though I trifted them in different places.) Maybe wearing something distinctive under the jacket will work - please help!

I am really struggling to style this type of skirt so it looks updated and modern and me - do you have any suggestions

I LOVE #2! The back doesn't bother me, but the length of jackets in back is not something to which I have ever given a great deal of thought, so what do I know?

How about a long-sleeved turtleneck or cowl neck under the sleeveless jacket?

Sveta, I think No. 1 looks just great the way it is. The neckline is flattering. The overall silhouette is flattering. And that jacket is killer. This is a winner, in my opinion. Makes me wish I'd bought the very same jacket when I had the chance. Everything about this is working, in my opinion. You could add a necklace, but the simplicity of it feels right.

What I really like about #2 is the way you've styled the red shirt with that incredible belt under the jacket. It seems a little long compared to #1 but like MaryK, I really do not know so maybe I should zip my lips?

I like them all, but especially #1.

#1 is fab as is. It is a perfect length jacket on you and with that skirt.

#2 is great with the red top and skinny belt. But if #4 is the backside of that outfit - we should be able to see an inch or so of red top. I think that would be a fun touch.

#3 is fun with the vest/jacket (can you wear that this time of year?). Try it with layers of pearls in the neck opening. Try it with cream or bright under top for some additional contrast. Remote idea would be to put a skinny metallic or color belt over the jacket -- may work or may not. . .

I like #1 and #3 best. For #3 I think piling on long necklaces or a scarf is enough to counter the all black look.

Sveta, I have a couple of skirts with that silhouette and I tend to style them in one of two ways: either with shorter jackets, as you have done, or with a blouse plus cinching belt, with optionally a long cardigan. You've done wonderfully so far - keep up the great looks!

I like all of these, and I don't think either jacket is too long for that skirt.

Sveta, I like them all, too, but to me #1 would look more modern with a white buttondown or something like that (something very fitted and tucked).

I personally don't love the "all black with a pop of color" outfit, even though I have done it a lot in the past myself. Maybe it's my personal baggage, but I prefer a more layered look when mixing black and colors; it just looks more updated and cool to my eye.

That said, I like #1 and #3 the best. #3 is fun, but I think maybe it needs more texture, which I think you can add by way of accessories.

LOVE the tweed jacket in #1; it's so flattering on almost everyone (including me - I tried it on but didn't buy it). I so wish I had gone ahead and splurged on it when it was available. Sad face for me...

Thanks everybody for chiming in! I ended up wearing #1 today - you convinced me. I decided to keep it simple and just added earrings and skinny gold belt.
I think I will try to style #3 with different tops and accessories and see if any tickles my fancy.
