Another change of user name

I' d like to change my user name to my real name as well, it really seems nicer that way. I guess most of forums do not do that but here i actually feel comfortable with it.
This is a great site, and i read it every day, even tough I rarely post.

And as a plus, I don't think I've seen another Tanya here yet :)

Count me in on the username change trend...

How did you change yours so fast? Can I change mine to just plain 'Ana'?

Oh, I just re-registered. Nothing complicated.

Let me try that.

Hooray, it worked!

I don't know what I was thinking when I decided to name myself after a poisonous fruit. I think this will work out a bit better. Choosing usernames is always fun for me because I have 3 names to choose from (one first and 2 middle) :)

I almost put my username as Dogismycopilot, which it is on other forums I post to. :D Now I'm glad it's just Ana. I never thought about it getting that confusing, but now I see.

A few years ago, I was an active member of a message board for several years. About 15 of the members met in San Francisco for a long weekend (myself included). Even though we knew each other's real names, we all kept referring to each other by our screen names. We all had lame names like BluesClues, Faithmonster, LilMiss, WorkingMom, ShotCaller...so you can imagine the looks we'd get from people who would over hear our conversations!

When I was a teenager I had a friend with the screename bulletholeheart. I thought it was so cheesy and overdramatic that I used to mock him by calling him bulletholebutt (reminder: I WAS 17). Eventually I started calling him that in person just for the looks I would get. He sure was a good sport. I can't imagine how annoying that must've been!

I think a YLF meeting would be interesting. I wonder what everyone would wear!

HA! We'd all have nervous breakdowns trying to put together the pefect outfit! ;)

I just dropped the "H" (first letter of my last name) and signed on again as Antje. Seems friendlier that way. Nice to know that the majority of women on this forum are choosing real names over screen names.

I just about always use my real name. I figure that there are so many Sarahs in the world that it would be hard for someone to stalk me anyway. :) And on a group of ladies like this I'm certainly not worried about that.
