Just a one day photo, but I tried to make an outfit that would purposely go with my new bag. This sweater survived my YLF cull from earlier this year. I always wore it with pants, but there seemed to be something off, because it rode up and looked weird. I think it goes best with a skirt:

I like cowl necks, and now my hair doesn't interfere with them. I think I will invest in some more next fall. Also, I always wear my watch, but I tried wearing a bracelet on the other arm as well, to make the outfit more interesting. What do you all think of doing that? Is having something on each arm too much? I like bangles and cuff bracelets, but I wasn't sure how it would work with my big white watch, so I haven't done it until now.

Hi Ana, You look great! I love you in that shade of green! I don't think having something on each wrist is too much--esp since the rest of your outfit is so streamlined. I have seen women wear bracelets and watches on the same wrist too.

I am jealous of your bare legs! It's too chilly here to even think about going bare legged!

Ana, that's a great outfit! I think the cowlnecks look really pretty on you and that color is gorgeous. I don't think that the watch and the bracelets are too much, it looks to me that it's working out quite well.

Have you seen the assortment of funky apricot pearl necklaces at Nordies? Oh my! They are fabulous if you fancy that colour pearl (which I believe you and Shiny do).

I think you are going to find that color bag goes with almost everything. I have bronze sandals that were really versatle in the summer. The bronze goes well with your hair color. I'm glad you passed on the black and got the bronze.

Everything goes so well together. Love that green on you. The bronze bag is perfect! (I have a grey metallic bag - I worried when I first bought it, but I find I reach for it all the time now.)

That green is so cheerful on you. And I agree with the other ladies: your new bag will go with so many different colours and styles + the bracelet & watch are not too much at all.

By the way: bare legs!! For a second I though 'huh?', but then I remembered you live in Texas. (In the beginning I found it strange to see so many 'Summer' clothes and sleeveless/short-sleeved items on the US shopping sites during the Winter months, I kept thinking 'pfff, why are they showing me all this stuff you can't wear when it's cold!' It took me a while to realise that you guys have very different weather depending on the state you live in;-)

Ana, that cowl sweater looks amazing on you - sounds like a great item to repeat in your wardrobe. I love how the new haircut changes your outfit options too. I never thought about it before but it make so much sense.

I don't think having something on both wrists too much. I always have a bracelet or two on one hand and usually wear a watch on the other. Like Nicole, I also like the idea of a watch plus some kind of bracelet on the same arm. I have one of those Pandora bracelets that looks great paired on the same wrist as the watch but I'm afraid that I'm going to scratch up my watch too much so I do this rarely.

I always wear a watch, and I like bracelets, so I never thought twice about wearing both (on different arms).

You mentioned that you used to wear this top with pants and it felt weird. Hee, that's exactly why I'm so grateful to Angie for the skirt/pant rule because I *finally* know why shorter tops felt weird with pants.

Thank you so much for the compliments and feedback everybody (you guys make me blush)! It's good to know about the bracelet thing with the watch. I like big chunky cuff bracelets, and also wear a big chunky watch. I will try experimenting now that I've heard some of you wear things on both wrists.

I'm super excited about my bag now--thank you all for the help you gave with that.

It's been so warm here lately! I can't believe Christmas is only 6 or so weeks away. There are decorations up, and it is so strange to me, having grown up in a 4 season climate. I envy you guys your lovely cold weather.
