A little request for help (edit: SOLVED).

Dear YLF-ers located in USA, I am hoping I can ask you for some unusual help.
BR has introduced it's L'Wren Scott Collection earlier today, and as usual all the good things are selling out really fast. I was really, really hoping to get this blouse:

but unfortunately it is sold out online in any of my possible sizes and in local stores,too.

The reason I would really like to have it is that I need to start building a collection of high-neck tops in natural fibers to hide my surgery scar for the warm weather when scarves and turtlenecks are going to be impossible.

So, if you happen to be in a BR store that carries this collection, and you see that they have the blouse in either size 2 (preferably) or size 0, and it is not too much of a hassle, I was hoping that you could pick it up for me and mail it to me. Obviously, I would pay you back the cost and the shipping.

Also, I do not want anyone to go and look for it for me on purpose, I would feel very guilty about that. Just to check if you already happen to be in the store.
And, it might happen that if more than one person finds it, some returns will be necessary. My apologies in advance. (The printed version will not work as it is polyester. Only the solid green one is silk).

Tanya, I just did the "Reserve in Store" option on their website, and it shows that the Michigan Ave store in Chicago has the size 2. Could you maybe call them and have them ship it to you? I'm not near downtown Chicago, otherwise I would swing by and grab it for you. Their phone # is (312) 642-0020. Hope that helps!

I am not in US and cannot help you out but I wanted to chime in for the hiding scar thing.
I had a thyroid surgery 4 years ago which left me with 1.5 in scar right in the middle of my throat. At first like you I was looking for high neck tops to hide it but then I realized that I don't wnat to do it forever. After 6 months the scar was not red anymore and I just accepted it and began to wear my usual open neck tops again. I felt much better after that decision and now I don't even notice it anymore even though it is still there.

You also can try some medications to make it less prominenent. I know that bio-oil is supposed to make scars smaller (I also use it instead of he night cream with good results). My plastic surgeon also prescribed me this Dermatix cream, I think you have to use it pretty soon after the surgery.

Tanya - None in the Seattle stores either. Maybe they just haven't arrived yet? I'd love to be your blouse Sherpa if they do arrive.

(I've taken to smearing organic coconut oil on my scars, and it helps them feel better. It's cold here currently and I'm using coconut oil all over

Just looked - none of my local stores had it in stock in your sizes. Hopefully a few will pop back as people return it?

Tanya, the flagship store by me seems to have it. I will walk over there after work and if I see if they have it. I will get it for you if that's the case.

The Bellevue Square store has it in size 0. I cannot get there but maybe someone else who sees this could get there?

Thank you everyone SO, SO much for your responses and offers to help. Our wonderful Zap has already got it for me, but I much appreciate the sentiment here. YLF is truly the best place on internet. Thank you Zap and thank you Angie&Greg and thank you to the whole YLF community! (And please forgive my less than stellar writing right now. I am very emotional and have been crying for a while and need to calm down).

Sveta, thank you for the advice and I will look into that cream. My scar is very long, about 6", and a part of it is very bad loking at the moment. It will hopefully heal with time and fade and be less noticeable, and then I will probably be comfortable leaving it exposed, but I doubt that will happen in the first two or so years. Plus, my doctors have told me that I need to keep it covered and protected from sun all the time for at least year when outside. Now I like scarves but do not want to ahev to wear them all the time, particularly in the long hot summer months here. So building a collection of woven high neck tops, made of natural materials and with various sleeve lengths will be one of my highest fashion priorities for the next two years.
