It *is* lovely, Alecia. Denim shirts are popping up everywhere – painters denim shirts too. I like the look!

I see this outfit with any of the following options: checked slacks, pinstripe pants, tweed skirt, black jeans, Ponte de Roma skinnies, a black jacquard skirt, a tulle skirt – to name but a few.

Someone recently asked me for gift ideas, and this denim blouse was at the top of my list! I'm with you Alecia, totally. If I end up getting it, I will likely style it with some type of pencil skirt, or a flirty tiered skirt. Can definitely see it with a leather jacket and some long necklaces, most likely pearls. When — or should I say if — it ever gets cool here I might wear it with a turtleneck underneath and perhaps a blazer or jacket. I clipped out a picture of Rhianna wearing a simple denim shirt (sleeves rolled up) with a white mini (I would not embrace the mini) and loads of necklaces. Simple and chic.

I like Angie's idea of the Ponte pants -- maybe tucked into tall boots?

Alecia, it does look like Katherine Hepburn. She had such wonderful style. I am still not convinced that denim shirt is right for my wardrobe, but I can definitely appreciate it on others.

I keep hearing people talking about the new denim shirts. I had no interest in that item until I saw this picture. Thanks Alecia- now I have to start haunting the thrift store ;)
I'd go with black ponte knit skinny pants.
