3x spring WIW: retro, sporty, fun. Evolving style

Sorry I'm scarce at the forum. Too much RL stuff on the plate.

My style is evolving. Retro is still very present, but I'm surprised how I seem to gravitate towards sporty. Didn't see that coming! I think the practical, comfy and stylish part have found a common ground in the sporty trend which also allows for a professional touch. I like that. For sentimental (and practical) reasons I enjoy skirts and sneakers. I loved that combo in the 90s, too.

Evolution is fun - love the sneaks, especially in pic#2.

Thanks, merwoman! #2 has become a FFBO, though feels a bit dark in colour when entering May (but its still cold!).

#2 is fabulous! Love that jacket on you. I also like the retro suit in #1.

I hope your weather begins to warm up soon. We have finally started to get some sunny, warm days.

The retro suit is fab. I prefer it as a whole and I think I prefer the bomber jacket worn over the black skirt as in #2. I love the black sneakers worn with that combo. #3/4 is great, the red sneakers add a nice hit of colour with the neutrals.

Style evolution is always great! My favorite is #4. With #1 running a strong second

Love the retro suit and you can sew always winning in my book. I like the polkadot sweater but not the band at the bottom of it. It looks like it stops the smooth line of the fit (outfit).

The mesh top and the sleeveless blouse with contrasting color is amazing.

You look great in everything, but I like 1 and 2 the most. The thrifted skirt and jacket are fabulous!

Diane G: I was a bit unsure about the bomber cardi with the retro skirt. A soft blouse might be better.
approprio: Sneaks are great! But I do prefer a heel at work so I switch to pumps or wedged shoes.
