Some of these trends are now a year or older, but choosing shapes or combos which work for me from each season and finding ways to carry them on is always a goal.
Not my cup of tea: mega-oversized fits, extreme pointy toe footwear, semi tuck, winter white (low contrast and darker colors preferred in my closet), sporty luxe (except for footwear), tall boots, cropped tops or cropped sweater over untucked shirt (though not bad with a regular length sweater), short skirts and dresses, culottes, flower prints, leggings, Birks, ripped jeans.
Right up my alley: oxfords, loafers, sneakers/Cons, fluid or somewhat boxier fits, rolled jeans and ankle cropped pants (agree with runcarla - have often had trouble finding PPL and this seems to mitigate), midi skirts, button up shirts as under-layers, leopard print (subdued accent), more neutrals.
Thanks for the thread. Fun to read everyone's responses and also helps my style outlook to gel a bit. I always lean towards the tomboy or androgynous and casual but want to stay firmly on the side of pretty and chic and feminine and it can be hard to maintain that balance.
